Get Above it All on a Zipline Tour

The island is home to Broad Creek Marina Adventures, which runs a 2-hour tour called, ZipLine Hilton Head. The tour includes eight ziplines that take you over the trees and whizzing through the air at many miles per hour. It's a great way to see Hilton Head from a different perspective.

Play Some Tennis

Since the winters in Hilton Head are so mild, you can still get outside and enjoy a few rounds of tennis with a friend. This island is a top destination for professional tennis players and boasts over 500 tennis courts. Try the Port Royal Golf & Racquet Club, which is the premier tennis club in South Carolina. Although, you will need to pay a fee to rent the courts.

Visit the Museum

If you would rather learn something new, spend the day at the Coastal Discovery Museum. This place features interesting grounds to explore and several historic buildings with interesting exhibits. The Coastal Discovery Museum focuses on the local ecology, history, and culture of Lowland Country. A $5 donation is suggested for visiting the property, with additional fees for guided tours and activities.

Take a Bike Ride

Hilton Head boasts over 50 miles of bike trails. Spend a leisurely few hours meandering around the island on your bike. Be sure to head to Pope Avenue and North Forest Beach to enjoy the seaside view, stop at a park, or grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants.
